The fundraising commenced on May 9th with a dress in red day, which was then followed with a cake sale. In the afternoon, the office competed in a Plank challenge with the maximum time achieved of 10 minutes by one of our Manchester team.
Raising £100 individually, a brave member of our Town Planning team also volunteered to have his chest waxed for charity. Many thanks to the beauty therapists at Cucumba Salon in Soho who offered their time for free towards this cause.
It wasn’t all pain though, as another Cobalt employee who is a qualified massage practitioner offered her skills for free to offer seated massage.
Timothy Rowe, Managing Director at Cobalt Recruitment comments:
“I’m delighted with the efforts from our UK team in supporting our global charity partner. As our nominated charity, we will continue to help with further fundraising days across our network of offices throughout the year. As a company we shall also be matching our employees’ efforts with an additional donation towards this great cause".
