Public Sector Framework Manager

My client is a leading national advisory firm whose dedicated Public Sector team works with a myriad of clients across the UK, focusing on their property resources to help them meet their business needs. Nationally, they work with several central government departments and agencies whilst also collaborating with universities and health trusts. Working on complex projects with a broad range of stakeholders, the team is seeking a Framework Manager to be their lead point of contact for all questions and enquiries around the use of Public Sector Frameworks across the group.

Key responsibilities will include:

Be the first point of contact within the national team for all framework opportunities and enquiries from public sector clients and external framework providers

  • Maintain data and information on all relevant public sector frameworks and disseminate this information to colleagues
  • Monitor and track all public sector databases and opportunities using internal systems and opportunity databases including OJEU Notices
  • Promote opportunities to the business, ensuring engagement with the best people to progress leads
  • Prepare reports and management information on Public Sector opportunities and individual Framework contracts
  • Track competitor activity and success rates under relevant Public Sector Frameworks
  • Deliver management reporting requirements under Frameworks, including completing monthly reports, KPI reports and audit requirements
  • Supports business development and bid activity for new frameworks and for opportunities under existing frameworks.

The appointed candidate will posses previous Framework Management/Business Development experience, with a solid working knowledge of frameworks in professional services and/or the public sector. You will be an effective communicator and team player with strong administrative and organisational skills. A good understanding of excel spreadsheets and other data reporting software is required as is experience of business development CRM systems.
