A leading Consultancy is seeking to attract a Senior Project Manager to their business. This is a newly created role and is classed as a strategic hire in order to capitalise on current and future client opportunities.

This autonomous role will find you responsible for providing technical full project life cycle support across Infrastructure and Highways projects, with construction values of up to £15m.

In addition to this, you will take on a leadership role for the service with you being responsible for growing the team and winning additional work with existing and new clients.

Reporting into a Director, this role provides you with a clear upwards career trajectory in line with the business and opportunities that you create in the area.

This position would suit an individual coming from either a Principle Contractor or Project Management consultancy background.

Key responsibilities:
-Manage strategic infrastructure from Outline Planning through to Detailed Planning including discharging of planning conditions, procurement of design team, dealing with ecology, archaeology, phasing and programming of delivery.
-Planning, liaison and managing of statutory undertakers and other 3rd parties.
-Lead in the delivery of client requirements from inception to completion
-Establish and deliver best practice PM systems and controls
-Leading service delivery with existing key clients, maintaining and strengthening the client relationships, using opportunities to cross-sell
-Ensure that control procedures are in place and adhered to in all areas of the business

To succeed as a Project Manager, it is anticipated that you will meet the following criteria:
-Demonstrable project management experience gained within the highways and infrastructure environment
-Be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering and ideally be Chartered with a relevant institution (ICE or similar)
-Strong track record of managing strategic infrastructure related to residential / mixed use developments through detailed planning, procurement and delivery stages.
-Experience and working knowledge of NEC ECC forms of contract
-In depth knowledge of different construction processes
