Senior Client Accountant

My client are a leading independent managing agent based in London looking for a new Senior Client Accountant to join their team. This role offers exposure into both property management and corporate accounting, across a large and interesting portfolio of residential and mixed use properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading a small team, ensuring all deadlines are met and all accounts are accurate as well as providing mentoring and training as necessary
  • Undergoing the year end accounts for the portfolio
  • Various monthly and quarterly reporting, including profit and loss and balance sheet reports
  • Liaising with auditors and being the first point of contact for queries
  • Communicating with internal and external members fo the team, including property managers and surveyors
  • Undergoing service charge function, including demands, service charge packs and year end reconciliations

Personal Specification:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Prior knowledge of property management system such as Yardi, Tramps, Qube, MRI, Propman advantageous
  • Aptitude to learn and progress, including studying for ACCA, CIMA, ACA would be desirable
