We are excited to announce that Cobalt is partnering InfraCo Asia Development on an exclusive basis to hire a Development Impact Manager to join the team in Singapore.

InfraCo is a leading infrastructure investment and development company focused on the South Asia and South East Asia regions. They are involved in from project identification, through the conceptual design, specifications and contract documents, through to construction and operations. With strong financial backing, InfraCo has invested in numerous projects across the entire infrastructure space including power, energy, transportation, water, waste and agriculture to name a few.

Position summary:

InfraCo Asia is seeking to appoint a Development Impact (DI) Manager, with a strong appreciation and passion for Infraco's mandate, to oversee the implementation of PIDG Group DI Review, Management and Monitoring systems in prospective and existing InfraCo Asia investments.

Impact - defined as strong, positive and tangible effects on people lives - is a core value of InfraCo Asia and the PIDG Group. The DI Manager plays a key role at the interface between InfraCo Asia teams (business development, portfolio, operations, developer services programme) and PIDG central Development Impact team, which is responsible to drive and demonstrate development impact across the Group.

This role reports into the Chief Operating Officer in InfraCo Asia and has a matrix reporting to PIDG Head of Development Impact.

Requirements:

  • An academic or professional qualification in a relevant discipline

  • At least 5-7 years previous experience in the field of international development (with strong focus on private sector investment) and/or assessing, monitoring and evaluating development impact of investments in an impact investing organisation or assessing the social impact of commercial organisations

  • Demonstrated understanding of how infrastructure investments can positively impact people and planet in the countries in which InfraCo Asia invests and how to assess the development impact of diverse infrastructure investments

  • Proven quantitative, analytical and research skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good IT skills, including high-level Excel skills
