An exciting workspace organisation that is growing in the region is looking to hire a Commercial Director. Reporting into the COO, the successful candidate will be responsobile for spearheading the sales and marketing strategies to optimise revenue streams for the business. The Commercial Director will also be managing a team of sales managers, commercial managers and busniess analysts. This is a regional remit and will be overseeing the APAC portfolio.
Grow the Company's revenue and profitability by expanding client base
Drives the growth required to meet financial goals by actively developing and managing go-to-market strategies
Keeps abreast of market opportunities for growth through expansion, acquisition, partnerships in all cities the business operates as well as those identified as target cities
Demonstrates leadership in driving regional BD and Sales initiatives, with the ability to leverage market knowledge and networks in major APAC office leasing markets
Establishes relationships with key industry contacts, existing and potential clients and maintain an established client base and network in the property and commercial real estate sectors
Work with ground team to deliver against a specific annual revenue target, including taking lead on renewal and retention strategies to increase average client lifecycle, and developing fit-for-purpose client solutions
Develop effective forecasting models and detailed annual projections and budgets for all the portfolio to ensure optimal performance and accurate planning of resources
Drives processes and governance around accurate budget setting and maintains prospective clients' pipeline, forecasts revenues and provides regular activity reports to Senior Leadership
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience within a senior Sales Management and / or Business Development role; with an applied understanding of the flexible workplace industry and commercial real estate markets in Asia Pacific
Working knowledge of major APAC markets is preferred
Demonstrated ability to build and lead high performance regional sales teams
Results driven approach to optimising complex sales processes
Good knowledge of business models, objectives, financial metrics, etc.
