Describe your area of expertise and experience?
I recruit for the alternative investments space which includes private equity, venture capital and real estate and I specialise in principal investments.
How would you describe your approach to work?
I believe they are a few key ingredients that makes a successful recruitment consultant-
1) Good market knowledge
2) Excellent people and stakeholder management skills
3) Tenure and stamina to be in this line of work for the long run
I aim to build long-term relationships with the clients and candidates that I work with as the trust and rapport can only be strengthened over time.
Why do your clients, candidate and colleagues trust you and want to work with you?
My clients trust that I know my market and that they can rely on me for hiring advice or market information. They also know that I am not just a CV pusher and that I properly qualify the candidates that I put in front of them to find the candidate best-suited to their hiring requirements. They also trust that I am a good and fair advocate for their platform when I represent them to potential candidates.
My candidates trust me because they know that I am not pushy and they can come to me for career advice, not just on potential job opportunities. I look to build genuine connections with them and they trust that I represent their best interests to potential employers.
My colleagues trust that I have good working knowledge of the market to share and that I am able to introduce good candidate profiles that they can also work with.
