An ongoing goal for Cobalt as part of our Cobaltcares community engagement is to ensure that we are giving back to our community and helping those in need.

At a regional level, Cobalt Singapore is delighted to announce our chosen charity for all our fundraising and related activities in 2020 is Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home.

Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home provides shelter, care, and protection to boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 21 years old who come from low income, broken, dysfunctional or abusive families in Singapore. They also work to reunify children currently living in foster care with their families as safely as possible and provide specialised care for children aged 7 to 12 with moderate to high needs.

We believe supporting this charity, who are able to make such a difference in many people’s lives, allows our team at Cobalt Singapore to give back and make a worthy contribution to the community. It also is a cause close to all of our hearts; ensuring children who need support in our country are cared for.

Managing Director Marcus Davies Bateman comments: “At times like we are in today we must think of others less fortunate than ourselves. So we have just donated all our office Chromebooks to help with their IT training and allow their students to have their own laptop. Our ongoing aim to continue to support them both financially and through volunteering this year whilst looking at who else we can partner with as the Covid-19 situation continues.

We must remember every little helps more than you think.”
